In fall 2023, when OpenAI’s data centers couldn’t handle the surging demand for ChatGPT, we saw a golden opportunity for our client, d-Matrix, which powers computing for generative AI and large language models. Despite not having a product in the market, Aircover immediately took advantage of the news cycle with an aggressive trendjacking campaign that quickly garnered CEO Sidd Sheth national media coverage for his views on solving the data capacity crisis. In doing so, d-Matrix is now recognized as a tech disruptor.

Transparent PBM Navitus: Prescription for PR Success. Aircover started working with Navitus Health Solutions, a pharmacy benefits manager co-owned by SSM Health and Costco in April 2024. Founded in 2003, Navitus is one of the first and largest transparent PBMs. With celebrities like Mark Cuban and publications like the New York Times actively working to take down the traditional PBM model, Navitus wanted to be a part of the conversation. Previous agencies had fallen flat.

How PagerDuty Broke Through the CrowdStrike Clutter: Leveraging the News Cycle. On July 19, 2024, CrowdStrike issued a defective update, causing a global outage impacting Microsoft Windows systems that was widely reported as one of the largest IT blackouts in history. The Aircover team jumped on the news, recognizing the opportunity for PagerDuty, a leader in digital operations management, to insert itself into the conversation as experts in the space.
MosaicML
AI’s Emerging Force: MosaicML’s Swift Market Ascension. Mosaic ML, a provider of software tools for artificial intelligence work, had no media strategy when it engaged Aircover in early 2023, two years after its founding. Aircover quickly gave the brand a voice, using a strategic media relations strategy that filled a defined “white space,” while creating cohesion among myriad product announcements. We provided strategic counsel to leverage key milestones and moments for the company including major product announcements that happened within less than a month of each other.

Skydio
Crafting an Enterprise Narrative for a Drone Innovator. Aircover and autonomous drone provider Skydio were strategic communications partners for three-plus years, beginning in 2021. When Aircover came on the scene, Skydio had general awareness in the consumer market but wanted to establish itself as an enterprise and defense company serving both the private and public sectors.
Fivetran
Establishing start-up as a player in the modern data management stack. When Aircover partnered with Fivetran in 2020, the data management startup was a Series B company in a crowded marketplace, lacking a compelling narrative or media presence. Our challenge was to transform Fivetran into a recognized player in the “modern data stack” revolution. We crafted a strategy that positioned Fivetran as a crucial piece in the larger data management ecosystem, alongside industry leaders like Snowflake, Databricks, and Looker. Aircover’s approach combined simple, repetitive messaging with a focus on humanizing the company through its executive team.
